Pipes and Drums
Aside from being expert shots and artillery-men, the student Squad of the 78th Fraser Highlanders are first class Bagpipers and Drummers.
Our repertoire is of historic tunes is augmented by newer compositions – all preformed with a high degree of skill and professionalism. Moreover, we offer a unique experience to our audience that almost no other pipe band can equal: we match our pipers with traditional 18th Century military rope-tensioned snare drums. These drums offer a deeper sound, different from the modern snare – a sound rich in history, and one sure to make an impression as they echo along streets or throughout conference halls.
